In the home of many Hollywood stars - melrose ave‼‼ Opened an awesome decorated restaurant! All kinds of fashion elements all over the place! You guys just look at the photos! Absolutely conscientious recommendation, if you like to take photos, don't miss this netflix restaurant! MELROSEPLACE LA‼‼ This matcha cocktail was amazing we ordered two! Wow I'm so surprised to see this place only has 3.5 stars! I just dined here last night with a large group of people for my friend's birthday and we honestly had the most perfect experience. So if you want my honest opinion of this place please read below!!! The ambiance, the decor, and the place settings were all executed so well. The service was also phenomenal! Our waitress (I feel so bad because I never got her name) had to tend to our 20+ table & she was so beautiful & handled everything with grace. All hosts & wait staff were very friendly & accommodating as well. Everything was also VERY clean even the bathroom which was right next to our private party area. These are very important criteria for me lol... Anyway moving on to our meal! -Drinks: My whole night I stayed with the Melrose Paloma which was the perfect amount of sweetness & refreshing. I think I ordered this drink like 3-4 times I loved it lol. Some of the other girls also got the Espresso Martini that I kept seeing being reordered & the Pornstar drink! So those were some of the hits for us girlies, as a reference! -For apps: we had the Brussels sprouts which were so delicious I kept going back to snack on them throughout the meal lol. We also had the Caesar Salad with cilantro dressing which was amazing & refreshing. Lastly, we were also able to get the Spicy Rainbow Crispy rice which was chefs kiss! I wish there were more lol as that item only came with 5-6 servings. -The main entrees: We first got the Steak Frites which were pretty good but the Spicy Vodka Pasta...she was the star because I am craving that pasta right now! In fact, I wonder if they Postmates lol...lastly we also got the Grilled Broccolini & let me just say that you can't go wrong with broccolini!! -Desserts: I don't remember the exact names but we got (I'll include a little video or picture of them) but they were an assortment of cheesecakes that I know everyone loved to end the meal with! Finally, at the end of our dinner the manager (or maybe the owner?) was so kind to offer us a free table at their rooftop lounge as well! We had a comped bottle of champagne & 2 bottles of tequila. The lounge took me by surprise as it was sooo cute & played great music too. & by great music, I don't mean the radio top 40 hits lol so that's a yes in my book. Overall, I see why my friends chose this place for their birthdays and I can't wait to come back!

A friend of mine lives in the area and suggested we meet here for Happy Hour. The allure of sipping cocktails on a rooftop bar was very appealing, so I called to make reservations. The lady I spoke with was delightful and friendly. When we arrived, we received a warm welcome from Mimi (hostess). She was so sweet. Much like the photos, the restaurant is visually appealing - a mirrored lobby with LED lights in the hallway, nostalgic pictures along the stairwell, charming dining room, and a cozy rooftop bar with panoramic views of WeHo. (Previously, this location was the Allbright Private Women's Club.) Gilbert (manager) greeted us at the top and showed us to our table. He was so nice, very attentive, and checking on us frequently. As expected, the view from the rooftop was stunning, especially during Sunset. It's even prettier at night with all the city lights shining brightly. Happy Hour is from 6 - 7 pm. Select cocktails are 2 for $20, which is a good deal since the cocktails range from $18 - $36 each. My friend ordered the Espresso Martini. I started with the Coconut Margarita and followed up with a Cucumber Moscow Mule. We also ordered the Spicy Rainbow Crispy Rice, Dynamite Shrimp Handroll, and a side of fries. Daniel, our server, was fantastic! The Coconut Margarita was nicely balanced and tasty. The coconut liquor & coconut syrup added a nice flavor without being overpowering. The Cucumber Moscow Mule was also yummy - with the addition of cucumber and ginger syrup, it was light and refreshing. Both drinks were perfect for the warm summer evening. The Espresso Martini was also well balanced. The salted caramel & chocolate bitters were a nice touch. The presentation of the food & cocktails were lovely. The Spicy Rainbow Crispy Rice was delightful. The tuna had just the right amount of kick. The rice was perfectly crispy outside and soft & chewy inside. The textures were all complimentary. Wrapped in soy paper, the Dynamite Shrimp Handroll was delicious! The baked crab inside was so flavorful! Unfortunately, we never got out fries. I think they were accidentally delivered to another table. Daniel was kind enough to remove them from our bill. My friend & I really enjoyed our evening. Everything was perfect from start to finish! I look forward to coming back and checking out their brunch. *Brunch on Sundays 11:30 am - 3 pm *Valet/Metered street parking/Residential side streets.
